Emergency Response Driver Training Ltd is the first company to be accredited by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) as a training body for emergency response training in Cars, RRV’s, 4×4, Ambulance Patient Transport, Ambulance Emergency Driving, Fire Appliance, Airport Fire Appliance, 4×4 & 6×6 Off Road Driving and Train the Trainer on the listed courses.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is recognised and respected worldwide for its work in road safety. RoSPA training body and course accreditation provides confirmation that we are externally quality assured and offer a high standard of emergency response driver training.

The company is owned and operated by Managing Director Stephen Milton who has over 17 years’ experience delivering Emergency Response Driver and Instructor training to Emergency Services Worldwide and 20 years’ experience operating a driver training company.

The emergency response driver and instructor training courses are based on individual competencies in accordance with the UK High Speed Driver Training (HSDT) codes of practice and Section 19 of the UK Road Safety Act, the Fire Services training is in-line with NFPA 1002 and the Airport Fire Service courses are in-line with CAP 699 AFF and NFPA 1002.

The driving courses are accredited by RoSPA and the Instructor courses are accredited as a National Diploma in Emergency Response Driving Instruction accredited by RoSPA.

Additional Instructor Training and Qualifications we provide include:

  • SFJ (QCF) Level 3 Award in Education and Training (previously PTLLS)
  • SFJ (QCF) Level 3 Award in Assessing (previously A1)

Our Mission is to deliver competency based Emergency Response Blue Light Driver Training worldwide at your location, to meet your needs, to keep you safe legal and progressive.

All our trainers are highly qualified & experienced Ex Emergency Service personnel with many years’ experience delivering Emergency Response blue light driver training to the Emergency Services.

Please Note: ERDT Training, or courses are not available to members of the public and any course enquiry must be submitted through your Emergency Service or organisation.
