Emergency Response Driver Training Ltd is a RoSPA Internationally accredited training body and FutureQuals accredited Ambulance training centre.

We deliver Ambulance emergency response driving courses across the UK and Worldwide accredited by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The training provides the necessary skills required to drive an Ambulance in a smooth and balanced manner taking into consideration patient comfort and safety when driving at normal road speed and under emergency response conditions.

Individual courses content may include:

  • The UK High Speed Driver Training (HSDT) codes of practice.
  • Section 19 of the UK Road Safety Act.

We provide a free on-line study facility which assists the candidate’s pre-course learning and reduces course duration and costs.

  • ERDT 1.4 Undertake an emergency response using a vehicle
  • ERDT 1.5 Avoid skids when driving an emergency service vehicle

Successful candidates will receive certificates and a driver development portfolio in-line with the UK HSDT driver competency.

The courses are delivered by highly qualified Ex-Emergency Services Driving Instructors with many years’ experience.
