Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (FutureQuals)
ERDT’s FutureQuals Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving course has been developed to meet the core requirements of UK NHS Ambulance Trusts. This qualification meets the requirement for ambulance service drivers to claim exemptions under the road traffic act. It will provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to drive an ambulance vehicle in response to an emergency.

We provide a free on-line study facility which assists the candidate’s pre-course learning and reduces course duration and costs.

- Study packs will be provided for the course: The Roadcraft manual, The DTAG Ambulance Driving manual and the Highway Code.
Ambulance Training Vehicle
Cat C1 Ambulance fitted with a forward-facing camera linked to a 24-inch TV in the rear so the rear candidates have a full view of the training delivery, in addition there is a two-way intercom system fitting between the driver trainer in the front and the rear compartment.
Course content Level 2 Award in Ambulance Driving (QCF) and Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Ambulance Driving (QCF).

Qualification Credit Level and Guided Learning Hours
The Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving, minimum credits required to achieve the qualification: 23
Successful candidates will receive a FutureQuals Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (QCF) This qualification is recognised by all NHS Services and Private Ambulance Services.

The guided learning hours (GLH) for this qualification is 4 weeks: Min 197 – Max 197
Your Location: Across the UK at your location using your facilities which must include a suitable classroom with a digital projector or TV and secure parking at your cost.
